SHOW TIME!
It’s almost show time for the fall musical! That means that the thespians are preparing non-stop and polishing up their performance. It also means that it is time for us to step in and help! We will be doing that in several ways:
If you would prefer to opt out of providing food or want to make a donation so that someone else can do the shopping for you, that’s perfectly OK. You can donate via PayPal by clicking HERE.
Wait a minute, didn’t we pay $50 for the musical fee to help feed these kids? Yes, indeed you did. Part of that $50 per kid will help to fill in any gaps for the food and to purchase snacks and drinks for the kids on the days when meals are not being provided -- the other part of the $50 helps with show costs (like a musical director and costumes and other expenses). To put this in context, we are providing food for 40 students for 8 meals during final prep week and performances (plus drinks and snacks for 4 other performances that are not on the sign-up list below). That’s a lot of food, so we still need your help. But please also know this -- if you’re not in a place to help, do not worry. No kid will go hungry on our watch! THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING HAYS HS THEATRE!

**NOTE for volunteers: We encourage everyone to schedule at least one night simply to attend the show. Sit with your family, enjoy every moment of the experience and then schedule another night (or multiple nights!) to volunteer. It take a lot of volunteer support from theater families and friends to make these shows happen. Over the course of Prep Week and the 6 shows it's about 75+ hours of parent volunteer time. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Concessions (needed for all shows; deliver to the theatre by December 2): Please label any of these supplies you drop-off or send with your students as "CONCESSIONS". Thank you!
MEAL SIGNUPS by DATE:
Please strive to have all food/meals for rehearsals and performance nights delivered by 4pm. The goal is to have the food ready for the kids to eat as soon as school releases at 4:10pm.
